Find your Murrieta & Temecula schools.

Pick your neighborhood — we'll show you which school district serves it, the schools in the area, and how to verify the exact attendance assignment for any specific address.

Important: School attendance boundaries are set by the district and can change year to year. The schools below typically serve this area, but the binding assignment for a specific address is determined by the district's address-based locator. Always verify before making housing decisions based on school assignment.
Why this tool gives a "use the district locator" answer: California school attendance boundaries are determined street-by-street by each school district, and they're updated annually. A trustworthy school finder for a specific home requires the official address-based locator — which every district provides for free. This tool tells you which district to ask, lists the schools serving the broader neighborhood so you can see your options, and links you directly to the locator. We deliberately do not characterize schools as "good" or "bad" — that's a personal call best made by visiting and talking to families. See our full schools guide for context on each district.

Quirks worth knowing

Some Murrieta addresses are zoned for TVUSD, not MVUSD — particularly in unincorporated Murrieta and parts of French Valley. The neighborhood your real-estate listing puts you in doesn't always match the school district you'd think. Always verify by exact address, never by city name alone.

Brand-new master-planned communities (recent Sommers Bend, Roripaugh Ranch phases, Spencer's Crossing builds) sometimes have boundary updates tied to new schools opening within the district. If you're buying brand-new construction, the boundary at close-of-escrow may differ from what's listed on older marketing materials. The district locator is always the source of truth.
